Anne Pantall | Ginger Adams

Anne PantallAnne Pantall is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) with over 17 years of training and teaching experience.

A dog lover all her life, Anne's involvement in dog training began in 1991 when she took Ziggy, her Basset Hound puppy, to training classes offered by the local dog club in her former home town in southwest Florida. Anne eventually joined the club and went on to put an AKC Companion Dog title on Ziggy when he was just 16 months old. Ziggy also earned a second Companion Dog title through World Wide Kennel Club, was a certified therapy dog and an AKC Canine Good Citizen.

Anne began working as an assistant instructor in 1992 and taught her first class as an instructor in March of 1995. She was responsible for introducing the CGC class and test into the club's training program and was the evaluator for their first CGC test in June of 1995. That same year, after attending an Ian Dunbar Puppy training seminar, she and another member/instructor established the clubs very first Puppy Kindergarten class.
Anne has taught Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Manners, Canine Good Citizen, and Novice Obedience classes throughout the years and was the Training Director for the club from September of 2006 until her move to Gainesville in May of 2008. In addition to offering private training and pet sitting in the area, Anne is also a volunteer at Alachua County Animal Services and a training instructor for their "Paws on Parole," prison based shelter dog training program.

Ginger Adams

Ginger AdamsI have lived in Florida since I was two years old and I have loved and lived with animals as far back as I can remember! As a dog trainer, I feel it is my responsibility to educate owners to use positive reinforcement training methods to better enhance and strengthen the human-animal bond.

Because of my passion for animals, I began volunteering at Alachua County Animal Services around 1998, temperament testing the shelter dogs to help assess their adoptability. During this time, I held the position of Volunteer Coordinator for 1 year, and used the experience that I was gaining, to implement a program to teach the volunteers and the public about dog and cat behavior. Realizing the importance of being prepared for disasters (especially here in the state of Florida!) and wanting to give back to the community, I attended the three-day DART (Disaster Animal Response Team) training and was a member of NorthStar DART team here in Alachua County. I continue to be a member of the local Community Emergency Response Team.

I give private dog training lessons, through my business, Training as a Team, because it is my intense desire to do what I can to help keep the family dog in the home where it is loved and respected. It is through the "Paws on Parole" prison dog training program, I hope to continue to find homes for the potentially wonderfully companions that end up in our shelter each and every day.

This program is two-fold, because everyone deserves a second change. We are providing a great resource to handlers that will learn new skills and responsibilities in caring for dogs. Our goal is to open doors to enrich two lives through education, trust, respect and confidence, and in the end it is the community that will ultimately benefit from the rewards!
